Haitian Fair Trade coffee, tea, and chocolate are sold only to support a fair living wage for Haitian coffee growers, and are not used for support of the Haitian ministry.

  • Grants:

    • KOCH Foundation: Grant Approved March 4, 2013 for $15,000 for the salaries of Religious and Lay Teachers at the school. Funds are required to be used within one year.

    • Loyola Foundation: Proposal submitted in August 2012 requesting $20,000 toward the purchase of a new Vehicle for the school. Application guidelines request a match from the organization requesting funds in either financial resources or in kind resources. Grant Approved for $10,000 on 12/20/2012. OLN matched this $10,000 providing $20,000 from OLN Sources.

    • Raskob Foundation for Catholic Charities: Proposal submitted in July 2012 requesting $30,000 toward the purchase of a new Vehicle for the school. Raskob did not accept our proposal for funding of the Vehicle.

    • Hilton Fund for Catholic Sisters: October 2012. Grant of $10,000 was awarded toward the competition of the construction of the female dormitory and repairs for the roof of the male dormitory. The funds were specifically to be used for plumbing expenses to provide water tanks and bring water into the dorm, tile work, paint, doors, hardware, and labor fees.

    • Haiti Fund of the Boston Foundation: July 2012. Awarded $15,000. Grant award of $15,000 toward the construction of the female dormitory for the Normal School. In 2014, awarded a subsequent grant of $12,000 for repair of the boys dormitory roof.

    • Morgan Stanley Fund: 2012. Awarded $4,000: Grant awarded of $4,000 for purchase of equipment for the Normal School in Haiti. Beds purchased by Sister Jeanna.

    • Battaglia Fund, Richmond Diocese: September 2011. Awarded $2,250: Grant award toward the expansion of the irrigation system and increased production at the school’s garden.
