Funeral Committee
The funeral committee provides the family and friends of their deceased loved one a reception after the service and before the burial in the Fellowship Hall. This includes both hot and cold food selections as well as drinks and desserts. Members of the parish may donate food items for the reception as well.
The funeral committee is responsible for setting up tables/chairs, decorating the tables, preparing and serving the food on fancy dishes, and cleanup/take down after the reception. The family is offered any leftover food items to take home.
Time commitment: Approx. 4-4.5 hrs. per reception.
